Residence Rules for Pond Beach Resort

Check-in: Please arrive between 15:00 (3:00 PM) and 21:00 (9:00 PM). To ensure a smooth check-in experience, please contact us in advance with an approximate time of your arrival. Upon arrival, we kindly ask that one of the guests provides identification. The balance for your stay will be settled upon arrival. We accept cash or credit/debit cards. Additionally, if you have a vehicle and require a parking space, please provide the car registration number. Please note that there are 2 car parking spaces available per residence. If you require more parking spaces, kindly contact us in advance.

As part of our check-in process, all guests will be asked to sign forms that acknowledge our terms and conditions, as well as house rules. These agreements are in place to ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests.

Check-out:  Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Kindly vacate the residence on time to allow us to prepare for the next guests. Late check outs will incur an additional charge. Guests are obligated to leave the residence in the same condition as they found it, which includes tidiness and ensuring that no damage has occurred during their stay. Kindly wash any used dishes prior to check-out to ensure the cleanliness of the residence for the next guests. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the quality of our accommodations for all future guests.  Please switch off all lights in the residence before vacating and leave the keys in the door on departure.

Housekeeping When Leaving the Residence: When leaving the residence for a day out or upon check-out, please remember to turn off all lights, taps, and lock the door securely. Your efforts in conserving energy and maintaining security are appreciated.

Key Return Policy: Upon departure, please leave the key in the front door. Please note that a lost key will result in a €75 fee charged to your card. We appreciate your diligence in returning the key as requested.

Early Departure Policy: If you decide to end your stay earlier than originally planned, please be aware that you are still obligated to pay the full reservation amount as originally booked upon arrival.

No Swimming in the Pond – For the safety of all guests and the preservation of our natural environment, swimming in the pond is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this rule will result in a fine of €5,000. We kindly ask all guests to respect this important regulation. A shower is provided at the end of the beach area. Please remember to turn off the water after finishing your shower.

No Pets: Apologies, but we cannot accommodate pets in our residences.

Guest Property and Safety: The host is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal property. While we will make every effort to warn guests of possible dangers, it is mandatory to lock doors and windows when leaving the residence for the day or when venturing outside the resort premises. The host is also not responsible for any theft from vehicles on the property. Guests are responsible for their behaviour while staying at the residence, and in case of accidents, they bear the consequences themselves. The hosts are not liable for any trips, falls, or accidents, including unfortunate incidents resulting in injury or death, caused by guests during their vacation. Please exercise caution and responsibility during your stay. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.

Residence Cleanliness and Waste Disposal: Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their residence during their stay. The host is not obligated to clean after guests or remove their garbage from the residence. We provide separate bins for your convenience: a food bin, a waste bin, and a general bin. Please use these bins according to the labels provided. Please do not litter. Bins are conveniently provided around the pond area for your disposal needs. There is a fine of up to €100 for littering.  Important: It is strictly forbidden to throw waste down the toilet. Proper disposal of waste in the designated bins helps us maintain a clean and environmentally friendly atmosphere. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our resort pristine.

No Glass on the Beach Beds or Sunning Area: For safety reasons, glass is not allowed on the beach beds or in the sunning area.

Nighttime: The period between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM is designated as night peace time. During this period, please be considerate of other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment for all.

No Unauthorised Visitors: Only guests who are booked and registered are allowed on the premises. Visitors are not permitted on the premises of Pond Beach Resort. This resort is a private residence, and it is exclusively for the use of residents. If you plan to meet friends or family, please do so outside the resort.

No Parties or Events: Parties or events are strictly prohibited on the premises. We aim to maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment for all guests.

No Food in Bedrooms: Food is not allowed in the bedrooms. Please enjoy your meals in designated dining areas to help keep the rooms clean and free of pests.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited inside the residence or on the porch, including in the hot tub area. Smoking is not permitted on the beach. Smoking is only permitted at the picnic bench in your front garden. We kindly ask that you use the provided ashtrays and refrain from discarding cigarette butts on the ground. This policy applies to traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping.

Host Access to Residence: The host reserves the right to enter the residence without the presence of the guests in cases where there is reasonable doubt that the guest’s property is jeopardized or when the host suspects that the guest is not obeying the house rules. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and the property itself.

Prohibited Items: It is strictly prohibited to bring narcotics, weapons, inflammable and explosive materials, substances with strong and unpleasant odours, or any kind of electric appliances into the residence without the explicit consent of the host. Please note that this rule does not apply to personal hygiene items.

Use of Appliances: During their stay, guests are allowed to use all appliances and devices provided in the residence. Guests will be given instructions on how to use these appliances and are obliged to handle them with care. Upon check-out, if any furniture or appliances are missing or damaged, guests are required to inform the host and cover the cost of the missing or damaged items. If guests notice any damage upon arrival to furniture or appliances, they must inform the hosts within the first hour of arrival. Your cooperation in maintaining the integrity of our property is greatly appreciated.

Furniture and Equipment Handling: Guests are not permitted to move furniture between rooms or take internal equipment (such as cooking equipment, blankets, and towels) from the residence to other areas, outside the residence, or to the beach. Please keep all internal items within the designated residence.

Use of Outdoor BBQ: Guests are welcome to use the outdoor BBQ facilities during their stay. However, it’s important to note that you will need to provide your own charcoal and lighters for the BBQ. The BBQ is allowed only in the designated area and cannot be moved onto the porch or around the gardens. We kindly ask you to exercise caution when handling the barbecue, and please use it at your own risk. Your safety is important to us, and we appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines. Enjoy your outdoor cooking experience!

Safe Use of Hot Tub: Guests will be informed of the safe use of the hot tub upon arrival and will be asked to sign a form indicating that they understand and will follow the provided guidelines. Please be aware that the host does not accept any responsibility for the misuse of the hot tub.

Safe Use of Sauna Therapy: Guests will be provided with information on the safe use of sauna therapy upon arrival and will be asked to sign a form acknowledging their understanding and commitment to following the guidelines. Please note that the host does not accept any responsibility for the misuse of the sauna (currently not available).

Use of Sport Activities: You are welcome to use the sport activities provided, but please use them as designed and understand that you do so at your own risk. The host does not accept any responsibility for any harm caused while playing games or participating in sports activities.

Cushion Storage: After using the cushions provided on the beach, we kindly ask that you put them away in the storage unit provided to maintain their condition and prevent damage from the elements.

Fish Feeding: When feeding fish in front of the residences, please do not throw full bread pieces or overfeed them, as excessive bread can pollute the pond and harm the fish. Fishing in the pond is not allowed. For your safety, maintain a safe distance from the water and feed small pieces of bread at a time, limiting it to no more than 2 pieces during feeding time.

Non-Compliance and Cancellation: Accommodation reservations may be cancelled for guests who do not adhere to these rules. In such cases, the guest will be charged for the total amount of the booked period. We kindly request your cooperation in following these rules to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests at Pond Beach Resort. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.

Host’s Right to Cancel: The host reserves the right to cancel accommodation for guests at any time, especially in cases of technical reasons or extreme weather conditions that may affect the safety and comfort of the guests. Your understanding and cooperation in such situations are greatly appreciated.

Guest Responsibility: Guests agree to hold the hosts free and clear of any liability for damage to themselves or their property resulting from accidents, injuries, loss of enjoyment, or any issues related to power outages, weather conditions (rain, snow, sun), negligence, defective construction, fire, theft, or inoperable appliances. While the hosts take all possible steps to ensure that the residence equipment is in order, guests are ultimately responsible for their choices. We strongly recommend that you review all available photographs and information before booking, as Pond Beach Resort is privately owned, and the hosts cannot make decisions on your behalf. We want you to have a happy and enjoyable stay, so please make choices that align with your preferences and expectations.

Items Left in Rental Residence: The hosts are not responsible for any items left behind in the rental residence. Please ensure you check thoroughly before departure to avoid leaving any personal belongings behind.

Price Modification: The prices listed on the website are not binding and are subject to modification by Pond Beach Resort. Please check the most up-to-date pricing information when making reservations.

Liability: The hosts do not accept liability for injury or loss of life to any person within the premises. Additionally, the hosts do not accept liability for loss or damage to any property or vehicle brought onto the premises. We strongly recommend that guests obtain their own private insurance as needed to cover any potential losses or incidents during their stay. Your safety and security are important to us, and we encourage you to take appropriate precautions.

Responsibility for all guests: The booking guest is responsible for all friends who have been booked in and takes full responsibility for any damages and harm caused on the premises. Booking guests will be held accountable for covering the costs of any damages to the property upon their check-out. In the event that guests leave without reporting damages and covering the associated costs, Pond Beach Resort has the right to recover these costs through legal means. Guests agree to accept all costs incurred on both sides in such cases. Your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the well-being of the property and all guests are greatly appreciated.

Fire Safety Rule:

In the event of a fire, please follow these steps:

1. If you discover a fire anywhere on the site and it is safe to do so, attempt to extinguish it using the fire extinguishers provided.
2. If the fire cannot be safely extinguished or if you are unsure, immediately evacuate the area to ensure your safety.
3. If necessary, raise the alarm by shouting “FIRE, FIRE, FIRE ” to alert other guests and occupants.
4. Dial 999 immediately to report the fire to emergency services. Provide them with the location of Pond Beach Resort:
